JAKEM Farm at St Ives offers four-wheel-drive tracks along the Mount Barker Creek and hills that are home to kangaroos, wedge tailed eagles, ducks and turtles. Stay for the day or camp under the stars. Also features play equipment. Dogs allowed.

The hills of our region make for some pretty amazing mountain biking, having hosted range of national and local mountain bike, cross country, downhill and endurance races and a reputation as having some of the best trails in Australia. Highlights include Fox Creek Bike Park, Eagle Park Mountain Bike Park and the Mawson Trail.
Woodhouse Adventure Park at Piccadilly is run by Scouts Australia but is open to everyone, with a range of adventurous activities and accommodation, including camping that provides fun for the whole family. The obstacle course on Challenge Hill is a major feature, and one of the best of its kind in Australia, providing a great test of physical fitness and mental agility as well as a perfect team-building exercise.

The Southern Adventure Hub is located on the Girl Guides grounds at Douglas Scrub and features a 3-sided Rock Climbing Tower, a continuous High Ropes Challenge Course, a double 'Leap of Faith' Trapeze and a super fun mini Zipline. They run a Rock Climb and Ropes experience for the public every weekend.
