And hidden within these photos are very clever modern additions - see if you can spot them all! This is a free event that will make the whole family smile.

Hahndorf Academy has collaborated with artist and new historian Rachel Harris from Bit Scribbly Design, who has cast her disruptive eye over Hahndorf with this exciting project. Black and white photographs from locals have been used to help create images of old and new as Rachel adds her magical touches with humour and stories that will engage visitors.

Keep your eyes peeled for modern fashions, technology and transport ... perhas a mobile phone poking out from a pocket or a pair of sneakers!

So hit the footpath in Hahndorf and look for the paste-ups – there are ten to find in the main street (and one just down the road at Beerenberg Farm where you might like to pick a punnet of strawberries!).

Or call in to the Hahndorf Academy at 68 Main Street for a map so you don’t miss any.

Check Hahndorf Academy's social media and the website for details of walking tours with the artist.
