Medieval and Rare Trades Festival

Join the Medieval & Rare Trades Festival, where history is brought to life! This family-friendly event is an annual two-day celebration of a bygone era. Watch skilled craftsmen and women demonstrate their artistry in carpentry, forging, baking and much more. This non-profit festival is focused on giving back to local Gumeracha and Torrens Valley community groups. Come and join them in celebrating the past, and experience the thrill of rare and forgotten trades, bringing a new appreciation to the present. The event will include medieval groups such as re-enactors, blacksmiths, dancers, artisan stalls, and many rare trades that have either been lost or are unique and interesting.
