Prospect Hill Historical Museum

Located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills village of Prospect Hill, 7 km south west of Meadows, the museum consists of a complex of historic buildings along the main street, depicting the life of early pioneers. A treasure trove of history and memorabilia, the Museum aims to help people, both local and visiting, to understand the history of Prospect Hill village and surrounding district of the Adelaide Hills. The Museum comprises several historic buildings with exhibits depicting the life of the early pioneers and presents the history of: Adelaide Hills farming, especially dairying, potato, and seed production Rural domestic life and children’s education The impact of natural disasters on the village and district, such as the Ash Wednesday bushfires.
